URL check and API allowances reset on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled from your account; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. See the draft Terms.
Questions
- What does the URL checker actually do?
- It reviews a link's text for common warning signs — like look-alike names, unusual domains or missing HTTPS — and explains each one. It never visits the link and doesn't use live threat feeds, so it can't guarantee a link is safe.
- Are my passwords sent to Cintrix?
- No. The password generator and strength checker run entirely in your browser. Passwords aren't sent, stored or checked against breach databases.
- What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
- URL checks pause until the 1st of next month (00:00 UTC), or you can upgrade. Password tools are never limited.
- Who can use the Developer API?
- Pro accounts. It includes 5,000 URL review requests a month, separate from your 1,000 in-app URL checks.
